Stjørdal is a station at the Nordland line, 35 kilometers from Trondheim. The station is situated at Innherdsvegen in the center of the municipality. From Stjørdal there are local train services towards Trondheim and Steinkjer, and long-distance trains towards Bodø, Mo i Rana and Trondheim.
