Stjørdal station
Stjørdal station is located along Nordlandsbanen. From here, you can take the train towards Bodø, Steinkjer and Trondheim S.

There will be changes to the station area from 10 August until the summer of 2027 due to major reconstruction work at the station. Posters and signage have been put in place to guide travelers.
The parking lot will be relocated to the northern end of the station area, with access from Innherredsveien 65C. This area will provide approximately 40 commuter parking spaces and 2 accessible parking spaces. There will also be 2 short-term parking spaces with a maximum parking time of 15 minutes.
An additional 30 free parking spaces will be available on the west side of the station near Byggmakker. These spaces will be clearly marked as parking for train passengers.
There will also be 30-40 free parking spaces on the gravel parking area by the E6. Access is via Wessels veg. This area is managed by Stjørdal Municipality. For any questions, please contact the municipality: https://www.stjordal.kommune.no/
Passengers requiring all-day parking are referred to the free parking areas.
A temporary bicycle parking solution will be provided.
The temporary waiting room, toilets, and ticket machine will be relocated to a position right next to the bicycle hotel. The waiting room is open daily from 05:20 to 00:35.

Gaining access to Stjørdal bicycle hotel
Download app “Bane NOR Parkering” in the App StoreExternal link or on Google PlayExternal link. Agree to terms and register payment method. Access is connected to your mobile telephone and applies to only one bicycle hotel.
Once you have agreed to the terms, pres “LÅS OPP” in order to open the door to the bicycle hotel.
Please note: the door may take up to 30 seconds to open.
Access costs 50 NOK and lasts for 30 days. Your subscription will be renewed automatically when this time period expires. You will be notified by SMS before your subscription is renewed.

Stjørdal station opened in 1902 when Hell–Sunnanbanen was completed up to Levanger.
