About the faciltity
Alnabru maintenance facility consists of two workshop tracks as described above.
Bane NOR Eiendom AS has leased Track 1 to CargoNet AS, but Mantena AS provides the workshop services. Track 2 is managed by Bane NOR Eiendom AS, with Mantena AS engaged to provide workshop services.
Users seeking access to workshop services on any of these tracks should contact Mantena AS at post@mantena.org.
Applications must include at a minimum:
- the requested time period
- type of rolling stock
- length of the rolling stock
- maintenance functions to be used
- work to be performed on the rolling stock
Access to the facility is granted in the order in which requests are received.
Applications are processed in accordance with the coordination procedure in the Service Facilities Regulation, Article 10.
Corrective and preventive maintenance services are provided on both tracks in the facility. Wheel turning, toilet disposal, and train washing are not offered at Alnabru.
The cost of using the workshop consists of multiple components. First, a fee is charged for access to the facility, as described in Network Statement, Chapter 7.3.6.4. Second, a fee is charged for the maintenance services performed. Both fees are calculated based on the time used and the type of services.
Self-provision of maintenance services is not allowed at Alnabru.
Bane NOR Eiendom AS communicates changes in the technical characteristics of the facility through V-circulars.
The facility's opening hours are 07:00–21:00 for both tracks. During the holiday period in July and August, the workshop will only be open 07:00–15:00. For detailed information on opening hours, contact Mantena AS.
